ailhadofrances asked: Love your post about Caillebotte, I knew an american student, my age who worked a lot on Caillebotte in Paris in the '70s, he became curator at the MoMA, Kirk Varnedoe was his name, and unfortunately died in the 90's, if you like Caillebotte, there must be his texts. Varnedoe succeeded in inviting Caillebotte's daughter in NY Metropolitan for an Expo, all that was long ago....
